Train the Mentors Workshops I-II-III

The goal is to positively impact the faculty mentoring capacity within CNAS. The ARA Program enhances mentor competencies through a series of Train the Mentors workshops, which are offered annually in the fall. The Train the Mentors workshops are required training for all ARA Mentors.

The Train the Mentors workshops are required for all CNAS ARA Mentors. These workshops are open to all CNAS associate and full professors, as well as associate and full professors in the SOM (Biomedical Sciences), BCOE, and CHASS (Psychology).

The Train the Mentors workshops are designed for faculty in the life, physical, environmental, and mathematical sciences, which may not be aligned with your college/school. If you have an interest in adapting these workshops to the needs of the faculty in your college, school or department, please get in touch with the ARA Director (lwalling@ucr.edu).

Our registration deadlines are used to determine room configuration, name tags, printed materials, and food orders. The workshop rooms can accommodate faculty who have not registered but decide to attend at the last minute.
